Don't feel bad I assumed it was how the add-on was spelled. It was like the dancing background bear. Even though he did not say the add-on name my brain just registered it that way.

Exactly what it does mean. Close to, Bordering on, Adjoining. They do not have to be vertically next to something to be adjacent.

Interesting, my sleep-deprived brain combined with the lack of a question mark in your response "Haha aren't they on 99% of keyboards" caused me to parse it as a statement, transposing "aren't" and "they" and giving it the complete opposite meaning.
