View Full Version : [WoW] Transmogrification idea: Rainbow team?
Heya ;)
My Beeqs are now quite look-a-like with the same LFR gear.. I was thinking to start transmogging them since guild leveling can be boring sometimes..
I had an idea to make my mages colored with rainbow colors.. First mage would be purple, then others red, yellow, green and magenta, and I was hoping the gear models be quite the same but with different colors on each toon.
My question is.. I'm sure there are no easy way to do it, but what would be the easiest? I'm gonna need a software with all the gear models so I can mix and match them.. but then again I don't want to download from google find some odd keylogger included modelviewer.. Where should I start? or would it be undoable?

Thanks MiRai ;) I didn't even think there'd be an in-game addon for it.

No problem. If that doesn't work out (or you can't login to the game and you'd still like to browse armor sets):

I'm sure are other sites as well.

There are definitely robes that are the same but in different colors, I'd look at the wowhead transmog cloth sets and find ones with the same robe in different colors and then work from there. Personally I'd work this way, off whichever robe has 5 colors, rather than picking the colors first. Robe is most important, you can always cheat belts/gloves/shoulders by just choosing one neutral model for all five toons.
Also I now want to do this with my shammies.
How many robe colors are there for the slut robes from AQ?
quick idea, I know that the aurora robe is a nice simple model available in many colors
aurora robe (white)
black thread robe,silver-thread robe (black/gray)
robes of arcana (blue/gold... not as simple as the ones above)
charged robes (blue/brown)
the following comments discuss this robe model

let me see if there is another that would work well
there are only four colors for this set but I've always thought it was pretty:

three colors for this set

the replica pieces are expensive though (just my opinion, I refuse to sit around doing dailies so I only buy my replica pieces).

can you only transmog armor items like chest arms legs etc..?

Don't derail the thread with questions that have absolutely nothing to do with the topic at hand.

my brain is about to explode from the cuteness. Although I'd tweak the yellow dress.

If you go that route, you'll have to grab the Jewelcrafting mounts in MoP so you can really match.
