Hey all,
as 5 of my shamans still lack alot of gear, I was wondering if I would spec some of them into resto to gain more survivability.
However I don't know how I'd heal:
- Click healing- Macro healing?any suggesttions are welcome!

I didnt for pvp with my shamans, just counted on 5x chain heals to keep everyone up.

For pve I had a dedicated healer though.

I'd likely just run battlegrounds, as much as you can stand.
Full honor gear is fairly decent resilience.
And with a lot of toons, that is good survivability.

When I was starting my druids, with questing level gear (and this being 4.3)...
Solo Rets and Rogues were taking out all five of my toons...
But with full honor gear, and no conquest at all, my 5x Resto can often take out groups of 10 random players in an AV.
Kind of funny, Rejuv x5 > Swiftmend x5 = Efflorescence > Wild Growth x5... and then 5x IS + 5x MF dot... get 5-6 of them dotted and refresh AoE heals.
And Treeform > Wrath Spam (not healing) is actually nasty, when at range.
That could be interesting in MoP, with Nature's Vigil.
By just running battlegrounds, and persevering through countless deaths, they became fairly strong.

As a 5-box (H.Pally & 4x F.DK), I've met some 10-box teams that can be taken out easily.
But then more geared 5-box teams can be a real pain to kill.
So just keep on grinding the gear, and your survivability and kill power will improve.

Most of the time the battle is against the swarming masses of non-boxers who are feeding us HK's... not another boxer anyway.

Defensive spec (http://www.wowhead.com/talent#hhGGMRfkdRZZbhcb:0rc0sr) for ele shaman that I'd use when boxing undergeared toons.

Send the 5 undergeared toons to an AV weekend and camp towers every game
