You gain 591 experince (+394 exp Refer-a-friend bonus) +57 group bonus thats when my booster is close by.

If my booster toon is more far away i get You gain 591 experince (+169 group bonus)

its the same thing right? or does the 1st do i need to keep them close to get bonuse later in the game so to speak?

It's been like this since the introduction of RaF and it's probably just a visual combat log bug that's never been fixed.
