Ok, background.

I have 4 elemental shamans that just hit 85.

I've been doing alot of PvP and my JP/Honor are both capped at 4000. As an example I can handle the trash in Vortex Pinnacle Heroic with a good tank, but can't take the first boss.

I made myself the "Vicious Charscale" set x4. I've also bought [Bracers of the Spectral Wolf]x4 and [Sabatons of the Graceful Spirit]x4 but have not bound them yet.

I'm debating how to spend my points, with the desire to do heroics and raids eventually. IE. Should I invest in the best PvP I can get until I can hammer my way through heroics with overwhelming DPS?

Any info would be helpful. Thanks.

High enough ilevel to queue for LFR? That gears you up fast.

If you are gearing up then you might want to look into using the tier 12 set bonus from 2 pieces (378 gear from justice points vendor). Basically every cast gives you a chance to reduce the cooldown of your fire elemental. If you glyph fire elemental, it will be up for every big pull, and it's a massive dps boost to have 4 of them up most of the time. You can chose between chest, gloves and legs. If you have cash you can buy the crafted 397 legs as well. Depending on what weapon you currently have the 378 honor point weapon is a good start as well.

And if you want to be decked out asap, i'd advice you to run each shaman individually through the 378 heroics. There are quest rewards that will net you some pieces as, and you might get a couple of drops. Shouldn't take more than a good hour for each shaman to do so.
