Hello gang. I have been boxing on Deepwood. Have a team to 50 but I have been struggling with an odd glitch. While running multiple windows using ISBoxer the focus briefly switchs to the desktop (the taskbar pops to the foreground). Key board inputs cut out. This causes alot problems as it is hard enough to respond to boss mechanics as a box without having to mouse click to restore focus so you can move out of the ring of fire.

I am running Vista 64-bit. I have nothing really running in my system tray other than ISBoxer. The focus loss does not occur if I am running a single instance of RIFT in full screen mode but it will happen if I switch to windowed mode. (No ISBoxer running.)

Has anyone had this type of issue or might be aware of a setting in Vista that might cause this? I also have not checked for viruses or malware. That will be tonight project. If anyone has recomendations on virus software I could use that as well.

Thank you.

This problem was entirely unrelated to boxing. The problem would occur whenever I played a game in windowed mode. I resolved it by running 'msconfig' and shutting down the non-microsoft services. There were only 8 or 9 of them and they seemed pretty innocent Adobe Flash and acrobat, some Nvidea services. Once those were switched off the problem stopped.

Hmmm, I have been having all sorts of issues, I will have a look and see if closing these help.

Otherwise, I fear I need to reinstall Windows 7 and go from there.
