In the last few days or at least since Wednesday of last week I've noticed that my latency has been pegging around 300-450ms. Nothing on my end has changed that I'm aware of and I being from the old Quake/Doom days of 40ms or less this is some what annoying! I'm getting on average about 1/2 second delay for any instant cast spells, has anyone else noticed this on there end?

Upload kills your internetDo like I do... use ZoneAlarm, and allow blizzard downloader to use the internet, then after you get the patch ban it for about 2 weeks. Then, re-allow it so that it gets it the next patch.

You guys know you CAN make the downloader totally optional right?(Somewhere in the Launcher options, or in the downloader itself; I disabled it LOOOOOOOONG ago because I Said "Fuck you I lag enough as it is") I NEVER have it running and patch downloads are a surprise to me on the day they come out..lol

The "downloader" seriously pisses me off in the fact that it doesn't close itself after its done. It just turns your computer into a zombie on thier P2P network.
/sighYou can close it, just click finished, also when you start wow, just click the box to show launcher, so it does not show it. Problem solved.

Turns out it's Cox, they are aware of it and are currently working on it:

Yknow that reminds me of Comcast's "Network Health" page...which either never loads or is broken half the time even when my connection is fine, or when it does load it says all is well; having an ONLINE status thing is kind of useless when the only time you'd really "need" it is when, yknow, your net isn't working to begin with. lol
