As I am lvling my locks right now, I am curious how you feel without a healer? will 5-10 locks be alright on their own do you think? Or will having a healer be a lot more powerful? Just your thoughts, I know it's early but you may be the only one testing this now :P

also, is hand of gul'dan still a cast on target? or did they make it a ground target again... looks like it's on target, but i want to check :P

Am playing 10 locks on live without a healer and there ok just. beta there a lot better without a healer though with one would be better but i don't like the feel as half my tools feel pointless with a healer.

hand of gul'dan & the meta version off it are now both target but can be changed to ground target if wonted am happy its gone back that's for sure :D

However, I just dont see them as being very good. Fun definitely, but good eh. They just don't burst hard enough. You should do an elemental shaman vid next.

Locks are not an arena team. They are a BG-destroying team. You don't need burst for BGs, you need loads of damage, and mobility. Locks LOCKS LOCKS!

Am more into wpvp and bg's then arena, atm on beta the burst when in full meta is crazy (though it will not stay) i played ele shammys for about 10mins if there nothing new about them they lack what they do today nothing have changed and well it be nothing like the bc/wotlk days with shammys. infact i hate them more then i do on live.

Before they changed pvp back to like it is today it was even more op the pvp power and pvp res makes the system very cool. But its far to hard to tell on beta as healing is 100% massed up then it is today.


Warlocks only get one dot now all the dmg we do now is mosey INS cast in meta. from a few dps tests thats hard i burst to 35k in meta and i have tried the one shooting tank chars thats stacked res/stm 210k hp and i take oneshoot them but so many more emg cool downs then before not sure how arena is going to play on any group. Infact i think it be hard to get burst out of any class @ 90

This is true i did do some dungeons with my locks in wotlk days.


tankmode is what am using in the video is not very strong tank for the new dungons (in pvp gear anyway) but its a great help in pvp not what they wonted the system for so there going to be a lot off changes there.

to be fair from what i played on beta seems having lots off healers is the key again,

ah but just like healing was off the scales at lvl 80 in Cata, healing will drop drastically as HP gets to 250-300k I would imagine. Just like it did in Cata at 85.
