Heya, Mosg and some others (including myself) have been waiting for Spriest to become viable again, and it MAY just be around the corner..
Feel free to watch the video I found on the spriest spells. it gives a slow, detailed idea of what we can expect from our spells.

Here is my breakdown:
Shadow word: pain and vampiric touch - haven't changed, at least in how we cast them.
Devouring plague - This spell is better now.. since it gives a LOT more burst damage, but it is much more difficult to use properly now.
Mind Blast - a little easier than devouring plague, as we can use a first-come-first-serve system like we do for DKs to keep this casting whenever it can, procs don't matter.
Shadow word: Death - Same as Mind Blast.. hasn't changed much, can proc to hit a target regardless of health, and hits harder now which is good. FCFS system will fire this off as much as possible. Good.
Mind Spike - Good for single target DMG, but has a lot of mana issues. A mind spike, mind spike, mind spike, (instant) mind blast, sw: death will still probably kill ANY target that we get the casts off on.
As for multiboxing, things are looking better, but the optimal DPS rotation is still HEAVILY based on procs, which is not only RNG, but sometimes difficult to manage. The hardest thing is devouring plague, since you really don't want to waste your shadow orbs, and your toons will not likely get them at the same rate.
Devouring Plague reminds me of templar's verdict now. Great burst damage, difficult to manage properly.
Overall: Great news for those of us who are interested in priests.
Boner Amanda! (+1 internet for getting this reference)
