Need help with grouping outside of my two Sages I multi-box

Rarely do I group with others. However a friend of mine who is a tank, has the best gear in SWTOR through his raiding guild, and his healer companion has better gear than I have ... sometimes groups with me.

When he does it throws off my auto follow and group composition set up.

No matter who invites who he becomes party member #1.

My auto assist and auto follow are set up so that no matter if I'm on Betti or Wilma either one always assists or follows the other. When he joins I have to have my second toon follow him instead.

Is there a way to make it so when I group with others it keeps this from happening?

Do I need to provide more information?

You can setup something that will do what you are asking. It's not easy and will likely require some changes to your key maps. It's still a manual method that you will have to do after someone joins your group and you will have to restore it once you leave the group.

Do a search for character configuration tool. It is the fastest way that I've found.

Malgor; do you mind sharing the config that finally worked for your 2man? I have been trying to get this to work for 5 days now, I'm using the 7 days free account to lavish and I since I find it so difficult I'm wondering if maybe this is over my head and I would like to at least see it working before I buy the real deal and subscribe to SWTOR on a second account or I decide that this is too much for me and drop it altogether.
