Trying to decide if I want to go the elemental or enhancement route for a 4-man WoW shaman team.

I like how the spells rotate the toons to face the target, but i'm curious how elemental damage/function stacks up vs enhancement because i've never had shamans before.

Anyone playing either spec that can give me some of the pros/cons please?

Thanks :)

Cons for enahance team, is you will get kited by anything ranged with slows. Have you met a frost mage? They will hurt

Bad bad idea. Enhancement is ok in BGs, but in arenas you will get tooled so hard by any frost mage.

Are you planning on a 4x team, or a 5x team that includes 4 Shaman?

Elemental is easier, because you're ranged.
I think Enhance does more damage to anything that you're in melee range against, but that's the catch.

Only a 4-man team of shamans. I might do arenas with another person but I only 4-box myself at the moment.

I really like Druids...
They give you a lot of strong options.

Chances are, in PvP they're not as strong as the 4x DK + Heals team.
Mainly because of their lack of cleave; they're quite a bit stronger DPS vs a single target.
But then again, they have flexibility with stealth to avoid/bypass things a non-stealth team cannot avoid.

You can PvE queue, as Tank + Heals + DPS (either melee or ranged, or a mix if you really wanted).

You can play 5x Feral, or some combination of Feral + Heals.
You can play 5x Resto, for some very serious healing power.

Shifting (or powershifting aka shifting into the form you're already in) removes snares and will remove roots too (as it used to)... and we're faster than almost everyone else... meaning you can escape from almost anything.

Nature's Swiftness will be usable in any form.
With Healing Touch, that's going to be five large heals per minute, on round-robin.
Not to mention already gaining decent health (and mana) from melee crits.
And having your next nature spell be instant, any time you do a finisher with 5 combo points.
