Ranged classes are the easiest to macro and do the most dps with. The classis prot paladin + elemental shaman is allways a good choice :)

So the elemental Shaman would be DPS?

Ok will someone explain it like I'm 5..

Hey there widdle buddy :) Hows hims doin today? What'd you find? :gasp: You find yourself a puter? Wanna play some world of warcraft do ya? sooo cute.

Heres what ya do.

the SoR can be used on any toon. **If you dont already have a pally for the tank, be sure to accept the scroll, then choose the option to finish later, before adding game time. Then go make your level 1 pally. After its made, then go back to battle.net and apply the scroll to the pally. Repeat for your other class.

Nikita is correct. Any ranged class is ideal. Mage, Hunter, Ele Shaman, warlock, shadow priest.. they all have their advantages.

My advise is to stick with ISBoxer, (since Im assuming you have it for SWTOR), and just use the setup wizard for your team. Get in game and play... learn as you go.

So is there a guide on how I should set it up? What macro's and what spells to put where?

You wrote in your first post that you used to dual-box earlier in WoW, boxing now is about the same as back in the old days. Also, if you have absolutely no idea how to set things up, reading the sticky is your first priority. You have to manage some things by yourself.

you'll get more respect from the community if you show effort and not flat out asking for fish. (RTFM) Start small and work your way up.

If you tell people where to go, but not how to get there, you'll be amazed at the results.

I'd go with IS Boxer.
Run the wizard, to set up your team.

Pretty much, drag a spell onto hotkey "1" in warcraft.
Do the same for the other window(s).

When you push "1", from any window, the other(s) will auto assist and cast at your target.

Ranged classes are easier to box, than melee characters.
But you can do melee with "Click to Move" and "Interact With Target".

My guide to IS Boxer will get you fairly familiar with how the Toolkit works, so you're more comfortable editing your configuration.
Any of the video guides by MiRai are excellent and easy to follow.
The IS Boxer site (www.isboxer.com) has superb support on their forums, along with an IRC which you access from your web browser.

Pick up the addon Jamba.
Khatovar has a sticky on how to get a lot out of it.
The sticky posts here on dual-boxing.com are a great read to start with.

You'll likely want to go with Recruit a Friend (RAF).
If you have two existing accounts, get Scroll of Resurrection with those.
And mess around a little bit with two toons, get a feel for how things work.
Ask questions if you're unsure of anything, but also use the search (www.google.com with "site:dual-boxing.com +Whatever You Want to Know").

Eventually, go with RAF.
Your existing accounts are A and B.
Have A and B send a RAF invites to yourself.
Upgrade those accounts.
Then have one of the upgraded accounts RAF invite to yourself.
So your chain will look like this:
A > C > D
B > E
Then use "A" to "boost" BCDE.
Read a post on RAF, it will make more sense.

Well his post didnt say he used to dual-box, it says he wants to learn how.

It might be hard for everyone to remember, but it was kind of a daunting task to start multiboxing. Not that it was overly tough once you got started, but its like there is so much there its hard to know where to start.
