The new team I've been messing around with has a huge benefit - stealth. I'm running an assassin tank with three operatives (level 23) and it is really really nice to just stealth by most sets of mobs that are in the way of mission objectives. With the stealth speed buff talents they still move at 100% speed when stealthed, so it doesn't slow things down much.

I wonder if flash points could be largely stealthed through to just down bosses and get loot...

I'm not sure that you would end up fighting fewer enemies since they like to block your path with mobs all the time.

Meanwhile, how is the assassin tank doing?

Lastly, what are your normal play hours? I'm toying with the idea of joining your server. The only thing holding me back is that I really hate the beginning worlds... I'm really starting to tire of them. I'm going to stick to republic on Swiftsure, but considering imp on your server for pve mostly.

Glad to say that I agree with how fun it is, Mercurio. Multibocks, I've found and hated a lot of those mobs too... but usually if you use your 45s-cooldown stealth buff, you can get close enough to CC the bastards (especially if you assassin-sprint)

Anyway the auto-follow makes me simultaneously die of laughter and die of bad pathing, sometimes. Other than that I love my stealth duo.
Since 1.2, though, it seems we're actually getting bonus social points for doing bonus quests too, so that's neat. I take the time and kill whatever bonus I'd get for killing stuff now.

Yeah, it is funny that when I opened up the legacy system my social points had me at a very high level and I could buy all the additional emotes I wanted. Unfortunately, almost everything in the legacy system EXCEPT the additional emotes looks interesting to buy.

Anyway, I'm not surprised many FP mobs can see through stealth. Would be silly to let stealth teams farm the bosses only. Still, I'd be happy if the fraction of mobs you had to fight through in FPs was the same as on planets/mission areas. It is true that sometimes I have to fight through mobs b/c they are directly in the middle of a choke point, but you can skip at least 2/3 of the mobs a nonstealth team would have to fight.

I'm typically on in the evenings sometime between 6 and 10:30 or so and sometime Sat and Sun between 11 and 5 (never Fri/Sat nights as those are reserved for the wife and friends). All times central.
