Newb question

I'm kinda lost since it looks right in IS Boxer but isnt working in game.

I created 2 target groups melee and casters
On the FTL DPs Keys, I updated key 1
changed to use ftl assist w/ target as casters
1 is passed through to all casters
it then uses a macro I made that has a cast sequence for my caster

the caster macro works if i switch to my caster and use the hotkey i assigned to it.

when I press 1 though nothing happens other than my rogue executing the right ability
alt backspace seems to assist my rogue from my caster
but combining it all together under the FTL DPS key 1 doesnt seem to work.

What am I doing wrong?

Also is there a link with all the lingo and acronoyms? I've tried reading some of the articles but get confused because I don't get the acronyms.

You will generally want to have FTL Assist Me > Target: Current Window.

Essentially, the Target is the character who owns/is running the mapped key.
And the mapped key has everyone else target your current toon.



If you're mixing melee and casters, that's not the easiest combination.
I would personally recommend doing either Melee (harder) or Casters (easier), before mixing them.
Not saying you cannot mix them.

For IWT to work, if you "imbed" it into a spammed key... you need to always have CTM (Click to Move) enabled.
Which means, disabling the portion of the CTM generated key that disables CTM, or deleting the wizard generated key.

I have that. I'm using a rogue as primary since thats my main. the rogue doesnt need to go behind or anything. I just want 1 which is the rogues primary spam to press the 1 and then have my shadow priest assist and do a cast sequence macro. It's basically just to speed up some dailies. Assist works if I do alt - backspace in the main window but not when its attached to the FTL DPS 1 key. The macro also seems to work by itself just not all 3 together.

Its the following 3 commands attached to dps 1:
FTL Assist me -> Target: Current Window / Keymap -> General and FTL Assist Me
1 -> Target: Melee characters -> Key Combination: 1
My named macro -> Target: Casters

nm i found the issue :) I was doing it right just looks like I somehow removed the ftl dps keymaps from my character config.:mad:
