Wasting a Video Card! plz help

Hi guys and gals, I have a gaming rig that uses 2 video cards for SLI and I just bought a 2nd monitor.

I have 2 questions;

why can i not run SLI on both monitors? i have to uncheck the option to get the 2nd monitor to show anything.

my last question is why can i not just assign Vcard1 to monitor1 and Vcard2 to monitor2? As it is now I use only 1vcard using a DVI for monitor1 and DB15 for monitor2, i am wasting a great vcard!

Please help my confusion I am new to multiboxing and running dual monitors!

SLI doesn't work on multiple monitors.

If you are running Vista 1 card per monitor shouldn't be a problem, if you are running XP, you wont see good performance on multiple monitor anyhow and will need to span the video mode.

Because nVidia's DX 9 drivers got passed over for Vista and DX 10. You COULD do it but not without the drivers.

Open source the drivers!
