Hi!
I'm just getting started with multi-boxing, and I'd like some advice on class choice from people that have experience in this. Here are some of my preferences:
1. Only care about PvP
2. 5x same class or 4x1 and 1 support, any more than this and it would probably be too much for me to handle in PvP
Based on the post on the front page I made a 5x shaman team. But now I'm wondering if 5x Warlock would be better (death coil on round robin!) or are there other classes/combos I should consider.
Thank you very much for any suggestions!

I think x5 shamans is the only combo really tested by alot of people.
Burst damage seems to rule in the arena currently, high alpha strike ^^ . (BGs, a heavy DoT group sounds like fun :D)

1priest 4 mages, 1 priest 4 locks, 5locks, 5mages, 5shadow priests, 5shamans, 5hunters, 5Boomkins. Have the BG potential but arenas some of those makeups may do well while others may be terrible :P.

Well I've been playing my 5x shamans all day and got to say the leveling is very slow.
From a pvp perspective would 5x locks do better than 1xpriest and 4x lock? I already have a priest leveled up I could use for boosting, altho without eoe wont really boost very well :D

If you're ONLY intereste in PVP, I'd suggest 5x Shamans or 1 Priest w/ 4 Mages. I'm at 56 with my Shamans, and it has been insanely fun. Albeit, I used a friend that had a 70 Mage to boost me from 20-42 through Stockades and SM. After that, I was on my own. 5 shamans can go through most instances at equal level, and plow through quests. Once you hit 50 and get 5 Totems of Wrath, you're unstoppable for PVE questing.
My suggestion, is try some combo and tough it out past lvl 30, then decide whether to press on.

Yeah I think I'm going to tough it out with the Shamans.
I have a warrior and a priest I could use for boosting (not as good as a mage I know, I also have a 70 mage but she is horde and I'm alliance now) the warrior is 62, she seems like a better choice for boosting because of sweeping strikes + whirlwind will take out a bunch of low levels in one go. My problem is that I have 5x shamans how do I boost? Do I do 4 at the time and rotate one out? I did this last night, I grouped the 4 'clone' shamans with the warrior and a run thru deadmines got them almost a full level. I still need to learn to gauge how close I can get with the lowbies before they pull aggro that caused me a wipe last night, as the warrior can't res =)

Yeah, in boosting a group of 5, you need to rotate the character that sits out. What I did, was i got a mod that shows the percentage through that particular level. That way, I'd check and see which character was ahead of everyone else, and sit him out. The 62 warrior is your best bet.... but not being 70 will probably hurt you a bit. You'll be able to do SM, but not in the same amount of pulls, or as fast as any of us that have done it.
For pulling, just park your shammies at the entrance of Deadmines and pull the first 2 full rooms and run the warrior back to the entrance. As long as you're <100yrds from the characters, they'll get XP.
