Ok, so for those of you that got a team to level 85 in WoW for PvE, how did you gear them up for raiding?
I'm having a great deal of trouble with the few dungeons it is allowing me to queue for at 85 with a team.
Thanks

You can do PvP; next weekend is AV bonus honor.
That will raise your iLV, which will let you in more things.
Also remember you can convert Honor into Justice points.
And buy some Justice gear that way.
Depending on how much gold you have, you can buy some BoE pieces on the AH.
Equipping your tank will help in dungeon runs.
Once you have the iLV to do the Looking For Raid stuff.
That is definitely a great way to go.
Nothing says you have to gear your team as a group; you can play a solo tank, a solo healer, and three DPS... or whatever works best for you.

I had to take mine through solo a few times to gear them up. First through lfd then lfr. Once you get a couple tier pieces from lfr you can start running the dungeons with your team again.

The crafted pvp blues are also great for getting your foot in the door. Its getting that time when people are prepping to dump their stockpiles in anticipation for the next expansion.

Plus you can store them in your bags without equipping them, then sell them back in the AH afterwards.

Get the PvP weapons at least. After that you can convert honor to JP, personally I'd get the pvp gear then start working on PvE gear. 390 pvp gear > 345 pve dungeon drops.

My preference would be:
PvP weapons, a 2-minute trinket, and the 2-piece bonus at least.
Ideally, if you have the time, go for a full set of the Honor gear, or most of a full set.
And then use the excess honor for PvE Justice conversion and/or buying Greater Essences, to sell on the AH.
That will allow you to be somewhat competitive in 40-man battlegrounds.
As it will frequently be, your 5-man vs smaller numbers.
And you can stick with the swarm.

This is pretty much what I did.
On 40 man PVP weekends, I would do mad PVP and get as much honor gear as I could to boost my ilvl, then either convert honor to justice (if I had a full set of honor gear) or do LFR (with all my toons) and LFD (solo, one by one).

I went for a combination of pvp gear, cratfable pve and also if my toons had extra valor I bought braces/boots for toons, bits n pieces from AH etc
same day my shammys hit 85 they were in LFR, it helps if you have a bit of gold behind you, of not go pvp it ups your ilvl and you can get into LFR that way.
