Dual boxing, 1 machine, 1 monitor, 2 different imputs

I have been trying to find something to enable me to dual box with 2 inputs. 1 keyboard and mouse controlling 1 box and the other controlling the other...seems simple but i cannot find it anywhere all i come across is programs for like 4+ boxes and 1 input for 4 machines and such. any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you in advance.

Short answer: no. PCs are not multiuser interfaces by default, so it takes custom software to do anything like that.

Two separate computers.

Closest you could get is a gamepad. ie Logitech G13 or Razer Nostromo (or whatever they renamed it to). Then use your multiboxing software to direct the appropriate devices keystrokes to the appropriate window.

You really don't want to try to do multiboxing that way! Give the isboxer trial a try.

You really don't want to try to do multiboxing that way! Give the isboxer trial a try.
From what I've seen, most people want that option so that they can play side-by-side with someone else.
