I had no idea this existed and I registered as soon as I could. If you overclock your Socket 1155 or 2011 processors you should probably spend the extra cash for this protection. You have 1 year from the date of the purchase of your CPU to add this protection plan.

That's fairly competitive pricing.
Compare to the IPR (Instant Product Replacement), at my local computer store (western Canadian chain) http://www.memoryexpress.com/
2 year IPR: $23.99
3 year IPR: $30.99
4 year IPR: $40.99
With IPR, if your product goes (which includes overclocking a processor to hard), you can have the part replaced on the spot or if you're not comfortable doing the replacement yourself then leave the system with them for 24 hours.
I wasn't going to do IPR on the processor, until the guy showed me that even if you overclock it, it is still covered.

Ive never had a CPU die once the clock was stable. But I never mess with it either once its done.

heh...the only time I've ever had a CPU die on me from overclocking or thermal problems was in the late 90s. And it was on an AMD before they added the safety features like Intel has.
