I don't know how to make a poll, I like polls :(
Anyway, I know I for 1, am very excited for MOP, I LOVE World Of Warcraft, have for Years now. Cata was alright, not as bad as some cried about, but each to their own, right ?
We just hit 6/8 Heroic Mode, Thank you 15% Buff/Nerf :P
Looking forward to 8/8 HM complete before MOP release.
But anyway, MOP is looking damn good, it's so pretty, I love to look of the Jade Forest, Im sure its going to be my new hang out, just looks good.
New xpac, change upon us in many different ways, Im liking it, Im sure i'll like it on release, fresh content, new places to explore, old days roaming around on ground mounts until max lvl woot, time to show off my spectral tiger :P
Bring it On!

There is some really good stuff in there. But when I read through older blogs/posts; people were excited for wrath & cata as well. And even in the so loved tbc, people complained 'how bad the game had become'. In the end I'll enjoy MoP as much as I enjoy the game now I assume.

gz, but now you have the 2 most frustrating fights ever ahead :P (you gonna have constant 8 min + attempts where you nearly fall a sleep and people will - due to it being so boring - start to fail on the first part :d)

I'm cautiously looking forward to it. Hell I might even roll a 5 box panda monk group. Dunno, hoping to get into beta to see if its something I will like.

I can kind of relate to why with Cata, for me wotlk was fine, cata too mostly, did need more things, but MOP just looks realy good and I am confident to believe blizz has learnt from errors in cata. Trial and Error, they are back on track I think anyway.

Thank You and I know lol, would have had Blackhorn literally weeks ago, but pug filling hurt to much, and then faction changed recently with most of the team, and then our dk tank pulled out of raids, bought a house is busy for a few weeks, just scored a ilvl 406 dk tank, a new healer spriest amd disc and had a pug mage which was really griefing us off and on from stupidity, but we got it in the end.
Lots to do and get done before MOP including Metas, finishing my Glory Of the Cataclysm Raider, all HMs on Sunday guaranteed and week after just some fill in normal achieves and hello, Drake of the east wind, just wish mount from Alakir would come my way to finish my drake set lol
lol I was thinking of making a tonne of panda's too, but think will select my top 5 I want max levelled in a hurry 1st then hit some panda's.
MOP just looks alive, maybe because it looks so pretty and im all for trees :)
oh my and aoe lootage, drools!
Anyway I feel like a kid on Christmas morning over this new xpac, was never that hyped with Cata, but enjoyed it still, still am

I can't say I'm terribly excited. My curiosity is piqued and I've seen some stuff that looks promising, so I've got my fingers crossed. But Cata really kinda soured me, so I find it really hard to get my hopes up too much. I'll start getting excited when people here who get to play in beta tell me too, lol.

The changes to valor have me little worried. The talk of take out items that can be gotten with valor means if you want gear raid lvl have to raid to get them. other than MoP looking really good
http://www.mmo-champion.com/content/2707-Dev-Watercooler-Mists-of-Pandaria-Looting-Explained?page=27#comments talk about valor at the bottom of the wall of blue text

yeah but LFR exists so you wont really need valor items.

LFR = massive money to be made first few weeks of expansion.

yeah the LFR will be nice but still give lower ilvl than what valor gives now. they said you will not be able to up LFR gear to = normal mode so still would not be able to get as good as gear.

You will be able to upgrade gear to a degree, but not enough to make lfr = normal.
A blue poster gave an example of 8 ilvl points. In todays terms that means 384->392, while normal gear is at least 397.

The whole idea of valor was for people who did not want to raid at all. They wanted to quest, run dungons for gear and never ever raid. There are millions of people who like it that way. I think they will get a lot of flack if there is no way to get the raid level gear without raiding. Even though LFR is very easy, a lot of people just don't like to raid period. Most of the easy mode changes were made to cater to the masses of non raiding casuals to start with, so with that in mind the change does not make a whole lot of sense.
With that said, I like the change, i think people who DO like to raid should have the best gear in the game. But maybe if the challenge modes are going to be very hard, that should offer a way to get raid level gear as well, at least LFR level.

With my work schedule, there is NO way i CAN raid these days. LFR is my only option and is in my opinion, the 2nd best thing they have ever implemented. The first being /follow

I don't know, /assist or interact with target would be my 2nd and 3rd but....
I like the way LFR is. I can "raid' on my terms and still get upgrades. Does anyone know if you can use Valor (or conquest) to upgrade PvP gear?

Valor as I understand it only upgrades your tier gear gradually.

I thought we were specifically keeping all of the MOP stuff in one thread to prevent 99 of these from showing up.

You are exactly right! What started out as a harmless thread turned into a thread we already have a sticky for.
