While I do appreciate the idea that information that has been posted before might not be as helpful as new information, to answer your question: No, I don't read older posts. I browse to the forums every day and read through new posts only. I don't think I'm unique in that, not many people dig through the forum for fun to find old posts to necro. Be nice to people, there's no reason to browbeat them because they didn't search through all the posts in the forum before posting.
