I'm thinking of buying myself a new mouse, in particular the Razer Naga (http://www.amazon.co.uk/Razer-Naga-5600DPI-Gaming-Mouse/dp/B002N2L6QU/ref=sr_1_2?ie=UTF8&qid=1332086416&sr=8-2) Wired, and I was wondering if anyone here used one? I don't think I'll spend the extra cash to buy the Razer Naga MMO Epic Wireless (http://www.amazon.co.uk/Razer-Wireless-5600DPI-Gaming-Mouse/dp/B004LRO1BM/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1332086416&sr=8-1)one.
At the moment I have a Belkin n52te that I use to 3box in Everquest, but I kind of like the idea of having all the buttons I have bound for my left hand, just under my right thumb instead.
Anyone have an opinion on it?

Many use the razor naga. Once you go naga, you never go back. It's superior to any other mouse, unless you can't deal with it of course. Personally I have massive hands, and it took 2 days to get used to it. Can't even imagine playing this game any more without the naga. Best money I've ever spend in my gaming career.

I've been using the Naga for a while and I adore it. It certainly took a little while to get used to, but I would buy another in a heartbeat. Using all the buttons are second nature by now and roughly half of the mouse buttons are stuff I use repeatedly in combat.
I have a little review from when I got it over in this thread (http://www.dual-boxing.com/threads/31266-How-has-the-Naga-been).
After a year and a half of use, the only complaints I have are -
I still don't like the placement of the Mouse4/5 buttons. I can use them with a little effort, but they still don't feel natural to use.
I still wish the mouse wheel had tilt. I always liked it for slave movement.

I have the Naga, used it for about a year and got an Epic a few months back just so I could move the regular Naga to my laptop.
For me, the biggest reason of moving to the epic was the placement of buttons 4 and 5 from the side of the mouse to just below the scroll wheel. That change alone was worth spending another $150 as it makes them so much easier to use.

Thanks for all the advice, I've got to say I'm real torn on this one.
i've read lots of opinions both ways on the size issue, and I've even measured my hand, but I just don't know.
Ebays cheapest second hand isn't any better than amazon brand new, which isn't cheap, and although it looks like the wireless version might be a better fit, twice the price is a lot of cash.
I'll hold off I think for now, I'm planning on whole new pc come June so we'll see then, if there is any cash left over in the slush fund.

I dont like it. I currently have it and just havent had a chance to replace it. The thing that really annoys me is that it will occasionally send double mouse clicks when I only clicked once. It will often de-target in WoW and SWTOR since it will click on terrain. Really annoying and I have lost a few battles in WoW because of it.

I've had mine for 3 years and I love it! I did recently begin to have the same issues multibocks was having and I intend to replace it soon...with another naga... It definitely takes some getting used to but Imo worth the price tag.

I cant but agree with the others in this thread, i recived my mouse 3 days ago, takes some getting used to, but once you get there you start seeing all the wonderfull stuff you can do with it, only downside is that its a tad to small for my hands (mine are fairly big), the mouse itself is about the same size as a MX518(its abit shorter, same hight)..
I have to say i was suprised about how good the buttons felt, and the software from Razer lets you reasign the buttons real easy.
I would recomend buying one the buttons are so usefull for boxers(and others i guess)

It's probably because of a little fat inside. The actual button inside the mouse is tiny. When you eat a at the computer you get a little fat on your fingers, it melts because of your body heat and eventually get inside the mouse after a long time (months). It happened with my old Razer mouse (not Naga). I opened it and sprayed the tiny button inside with a degreasing spray and it worked fine for a couple months before it started again. The second time i just bought a Naga. (Note: i have not opened my Naga, but wouldn't be surprised if the button inside is the same tiny one.)

Well, I'm going to be getting a bonus this year, so once that comes through I think I'll be buying the wireless version. It seems like it wwould be a better size.
Before i click Buy though i do have another question. Can it output, what's called on my Belkin n52te, Direct Input? I think the best way to describe it is as similar to the G keys on a Logitech keyboard.

No.
I have one of these too and only issue is an aggressive grab at the mouse I could hit keys I did not intend. To be clear, this mouse is a mouse but it is also a keyboard. It works like having two keyboards connected to the same system. My hand size, like others have mentioned, had me hitting keys when I didn't intend too. I would expect it could have adjusted to it for the performance others are getting out of it, but couldn't get passed the occasional inadvertent key presses. Can only recommend trying to see how it works for you, it is a high quality mouse and keyboard combo. The in game add-on is helpful but does add another add on in game to deal with.

I would probably buy a mouse some with less buttons than that. I honestly don't need that many.
Plus I don't think it's worth shelling out like 100$ for just a mouse, but maybe that's just me.

When my husband got it for me, I thought I'd use maybe half the buttons. Now I use all the buttons, with and without modifiers and set up a couple different profiles. I'd be lost without it now.
Anyone use a Logitech MX1000 in the past and can compare to the Naga? I know the Naga has more buttons, but the tilt wheel sure is nice.

I too have had the double click issue on the Razer Naga, if you check out some of these sites and also Best Buy customer reviews it seems VERY common. The above solution seems to be a short term fix due to the issue is the plastic which clicks wears through times and causes the issue.
I solved my double click by blowing air into the mouse but I am thinking it will not fix it long term.
