There has been some interesting discussion lately about why people search for info on a spec or set of classes or other setups and only get a few results, where other people get a ton of results. Here's a tip for ya: the search box works at different levels depending on where you are in the forums.
Examples:
If you are reading a thread, the search box defaults to searching within that THREAD ONLY.
If you are browsing a forum, the search box defaults to searching all posts within that FORUM ONLY.
If you are browsing a subsection/group of forums like the "Main Forums" ('http://www.dual-boxing.com/forums/index.php?page=Board&boardID=1') subsection, the search box defaults to searching all forums and posts within that SUBSECTION ONLY.
The only time the search box defaults to searching the entire forums is when you are at the very top level of the forums.
Hope this helps you find what you're looking for. Also, if you click the little magnifying glass, you can select a few other features, including the advanced search pane which will let you restrict your searches to specific areas, including your PMs. ;)
Apologies to those who already knew this. This is the first board I've ever used on the Burning Board codebase.
Cheers,
