I'm doing some pretty simple stuff using ISBoxer to help with the mining op. I'm new with ISBoxer and don't know how to use the more advanced features, so bear with me.

I currently keep the key-mapping off (Shift-Alt-M) as soon as clients are loaded and it never goes back on.

Sequence goes something like this:

Hit Shift-Alt-R to turn on the repeater
Hit F1, then F2, and target the closest asteroid/ice on the overview. (at the top since they're sorted by distance)
Hit Shift-Alt-R to turn off repeater
... mining happens, Cargo hold fills.
Hit Shift-Alt-R to turn on repeater again
Broadcast clicks to warp to pos
Broadcast right-clicking on the ore/ice to jettison
Broadcast clicks to warp back to ore/ice
Hit F1, then F2 and target the closest asteroid/ice on the overview again.. turn off repeater, etc.

Now this is much better than what I had before without using ISBoxer, but I know it can be done better.

The next step:

I was able to set up a repeater region for the UI elements that get clicked on (overview, warp locations, cargo).
This allows me to only broadcast while the mouse is in that region, and that's pretty cool.
Problem is that now when I hit F1/F2 it's not sending those keys to the other clients. I tried mucking with the different options when setting up the repeater region (Mapping Always On, etc) but that doesn't work and is confusing me.

I am assuming that the key mapping is supposed to be "on" in most circumstances and that I just need to add mappable F1 and F2 keys to the scheme along the line and I will then have my desired scenario.

Any help appreciated =)

If you just want pure broadcast for F1 and F2 only, follow the instructions in http://isboxer.com/wiki/EVE:Quick_Start_Guide#Quickly_add_many_broadcastin g_hotkeys. The target should be "all w/ current: and you can skip steps 6 and 7. In Step 3 just press F1 and F2.

Yes that did work quite well. Thank you! I did not remember that simple way to add keys from the quick start tutorial.

I've been looking all over the documentation/wiki/forums/youtube tutorials trying to wrap my head around this stuff. It must seem pretty simple for those who have used ISBoxer over the years but at first it can be a bit much. Next I will probably try some videoFX stuff and make the 2nd computer use less clients, make it look nice. Hoping to get a layout that is perhaps 3x3 screens with some of the UI stuff at full scale.
