According to UPS and FedEX tracking, my 2GB of additional memory, 2 copies of WoW, 2 copies of TBC and new vid card should be at home by the time get home from work. Just need to purchase Keyclone and jump into the fire. I plan on staying up all night. 8)

My system specs:

AMD 3800+ (dual core)
3GB RAM (after new mem is installed)
GeForce 7600 GS 512MB (I'm limited by my power supply 300W)
19" SyncMaster

I plan on purchasing a gaming laptop and a beefy gaming machine later this spring. After I get my severance package from work. Sucks to lose my job to an Indian outsourcing company but I get a nice lump sum check and about 3 months of free time. I'm looking forward to it.

Awesome thanks. I'm sure I'll be alt-tabbing here a lot.

I'll definitely post some pics as I learn and start venturing out into the world.

Had a few problems starting out. Since I copied my /Program Files/World of Warcraft folder to c:/wow1, c:/wow2 and c:/wow3, I could not get Maximizer to work at all. I followed the walk-through step-by-step 3 times, same result. The command would execute wow1 at start up but not wow2 or wow3. Also, it would not Maximize the window. Once I exited wow1, wow2 would execute then exit wow2 and wow3 would execute.

For gits and shiggles, I deleted the What The Fuck! folders and BAM!, Maximizer worked like a charm. /shrug

Anyways, everything is working like a charm right and I'm on my way. The "chips" are currently level 4 and generated quite the convos in the starting area. 8)

Hey buddy -

Welcome to the community ^^ Pretty new here myself but I'm trying to help out where i can :P Rather than copy you Wow directory out, i would advise looking at Choriz's Post about making symbolic links to the directory for your other copies. It will save you disc space (about 40g if your 5-boxing!) and it does seem to improve performance on my machine (apparently it only has to resolve the wow files once in memory rather than 5 times, or so it was explained to me  ) Anyhoo, you can find the link here ('http://www.dual-boxing.com/forums/index.php?page=Thread&postID=41423&highlight=linking#post41423')
