If you have heard about this yet, it is a cross-realm Horde premade AV group (http://us.battle.net/wow/en/forum/topic/4044465077?page=1). It runs every nights and is multi boxing friendly.
AV preform enabler is required.

The official thread is located here (http://us.battle.net/wow/en/forum/topic/4044465077?page=1) .

The general idea behind the strategy is to keep all Alliance north and hold the Ice Wing choke.

Once Bal is dead, south is secure, Ice Wing and Stone hearth is capped, a Death march is done to spawn trap Alliance at the storm pike graveyard.

Almost everyone we win with 600 to 0.

Hope to see more of you Horde multiboxing in the game.

Just heard about this. I may try to get into some of their premades and gear up my shamans.

Mmm a lot of us from the alliance cross realm pre made group are looking into switching to Horde.

It seems that premades thrive when the opponent faction has long queue times and die very quickly when the queue times swap factions.

You might be getting an extra 15-25 full cata players with new toons on your group soon.

Alliance or Horde, we don't discriminate who we kill :)

Nice! We'll likely be able to run 2-3 groups each night :)

I've downloaded the addon and joined your vent channel. Not sure what happens next though, sat there awhile, see 40 or so people in the war room, but not sure how I get invited to your queue.

Ive come across this and got dominated by it. Did manage to cap two towers against them though and didn't let them get DB. But man, Hks was NOT in our favour lol

I know we've come up against some alliance boxers while doing this. Sorry about that =P

Who do we whisper to get the info?

Read through this thread (http://here) . There are lots of leaders. All you have to do is join vent and move to one of the War Room channels. Usually, there are at least 1-2 AV groups running each night.

Just pop into the channel, ask if there are any spots open. If there are, the will invite you next game. If not, you'll be added to the wait list.

Typically, the AV leader has his real id in his vent comment.

be nice if you have enough boxers to make our own pre-made this weekend..i should be on most the weekend grinding honor! Has our guild ever done this strat with guildies only?

yeah, we have done a 40-man AV premade of boxers only. They work prerty well, but sometimes having too many boxers can make things difficult. I find playing with 20 singles and 4 5-boxed teams works exceptionally well. The Rath strat guys know the zerg very well and treat us like royalty.

^^^

I love doing AV with the Rath Strat crew! When it comes to queuing they have a "no boxer left behind" policy, meaning that if the boxers don't get all their tunes in, we re-queue :)

The guys who run it are all fun and I have yet to even come close to losing, even when we got another premade.

Yesterday we did a AV match with 7 boxers and 5 single boxers. We still won but had to resort to turtle'ing outside of the keep. Still ended up with some 400+ HKs and 500 honor :)

Correct. Just hop in their vent and ask to get on the wait list.

I was in one yesterday that was a premade Ally.. they owned us hard! but that was one loss in about 15 games i have run with them so far. I can not wait for AV weekend!

I tried three times to get into the Rath premades but have not had a good experience. Of course it was mostly blizzards fault. All three times they failed to put me into the same bg as everyone else.

Other thing is the time. In the time it takes to wait for the next bg, to wait for everyone to bio and get ready so you can queue us, and the bg itself, I can run 5 regular bgs to your one premade.

I'll probably try a couple more times, since I know winning is much less frustrating than losing and premades win more. But simply from an honor farming point of view its not working out so well for me.

Its much better for HK farming tbh.

The honor can be slow at times, buts its fun! How well did it go the last AV weekend? if you were running it then.

So these guys run AV continuously and only ever do turtles?

A choke is set at the hill leading up to Icewing Bunker.

The alliance offense is broken at Galv.
And Tower Point & Iceblood Tower are taken back.
Along with anyone who ran ahead to the Frost Wolf Keep.

If its executed properly, the Horde take Stonehearth and Icewing Bunkers.
Which means an insurmountable resource lead, and a turtle type game.

The only 'rush' style win for the alliance that has a chance, is rushing to Drek.
That way they would have 90% of their force at Frostwolf Keep, and neither side would have a close graveyard.
Or the graveyards would eventually be alliance graveyards.

If the alliance were to play for a choke as well...
Or to do something other than a typical rush strat...
But in 99% of the games, that's exactly what they attempt -- and exactly what the Rath Strat counters amazingly well.

Interesting but I'm guessing it'd get old? For shaman boxers they're gonna get RSI hitting their chain lightning macros :P

Do they run any BGs other than AV? And what are their leaders like for the BGs? Is it similar to the drones that QQ has leading nowadays (read from the script and do the same thing over and over?)

Keep in mind, the RathStrat AV's are NOT for honor farming, they are for fun farming, the mindless zerg that av has become is so boring, av and ioc are the only bg's i do, i prefer the big bg's over the little ones by a long shot, the whole point of the rathstrat is to bring PVP back to AV and make it fun, yea, the games are a lot longer, and you get a lot less honor per hour, but i guarandamntee that you'll never have as much fun in a honor farm zerg av, as we do in rathstrat, i love it, and i love the rage it generates WWW.RAGEWHISPERS.COM (http://www.RAGEWHISPERS.COM) FEEL THE RAGE!!! (mindless rant)

have fun, and hope to see you in the group soon!!

No the leaders are pretty awesome people, they do not read from a script as the games aren't always the same, there are subtle differences between them as each game needs different things at different times, i find it quite enjoyable and really fun, not boring at all, it never gets boring having 400+ HK's in a single BG and the rage never gets old, and we ROFLstomped a QQ premade that we actually went against one game, if i remember correctly it was even 600 - 0 there was a youtube video of it, but i can't seem to find it at the moment.

So only AV? They queue for that with Preform?

And never run randoms or other BGs (other than IoC)?

as far as i know it's only av and ioc, it would be easier to get grps for the smaller bg's on your own, seems like it would be a lot of trouble to try and manage 50+ toons for a bunch of 15+ toon bg's
