I have a Pally healer and 4 DK. 3 of them I will run in Frost and 1 in Blood for doing 5 man normal and heroics.

I am wondering if it is possible to have a single macro tanking key for my blood tank? What is the best rotation to keep the agro when tanking?

My plan is to have a single key for the blood to run in an get aggro and then use my 3x Frost DKs for the DPS. I could also use your advice on a good macro for that. I was currently thinking to use;

Step 1:

Mind Freeze
Howling Blast
IWT (start melee auto-attack)

Step 2:

Howling Blast
Frost Strike
Necrotic strike
Death Coil

I am not sure that is the best frost rotation for dps.

Can you advise what is the best tanking rotation and best dps rotation for 5 man heroics?

Do they have to be on different steps or all on one step if using ISboxer?

EDIT: What Ilevel do I need to have to consider heroics easier for boxing? Also which heroics are easiest for boxing and getting justice points or valor points as well as making good money?

you definitely not want to use mind freeze, necrotic strike and death coil in your standard rotation, you would be better with something like:

/use 10
/use 13
/use 14
/castsequence reset=5 icy touch, plague strike, Heart Strike,Heart Strike,Death strike,Rune Strike,Rune Strike,Heart Strike, Death Strike,Rune Strike,Heart Strike,Rune Strike,Heart Strike,Heart Strike,Rune Strike

for frost:

/target focustarget
/castsequence reset=target/combat/3 Howling Blast,Howling Blast, Howling Blast,Howling Blast,Plague Strike,Plague Strike
/use 14
/use 13
/use 10
/cast Raise Dead

the "use 10" is eng enchant on gloves, 13 and 14 are trinkets respectively.

I spam basicaly these 2 macros and have little to no issues with keeping aggro or sustaining dps. I have other abilities separately, like death strike for immergency heal, rune strike and frost strike on same keys, etc..

edit: typo in macros

No obliterate on frost DKs? No outbreak?

I have obliterate and outbreak separately, as I suggested, and what was requested, was simple macro. There are many very good topics in the macro sections of this forum. Try searching blood dk macro or frost dk macro, you will find all you need to know :-)

Thanks guys. Should each action in the macro be a separate step in ISBoxer or all together as one step?

I cannt comment on ISBoxer, since I am using AHK for boxing.

If you're doing a castsequence, it would be a single macro.

The only time you'd want steps is when you want different actions on subsequent presses.
If there were a two-step mapped key, where you have a castsequence macro on keybind 1 and a proc macro on keybind 2...
And you wanted to alternate between them, you'd go for Steps.

Then likely have a castsequence on one macro.
And a macro and/or another castsequence on the second key.

If the macro (castsequence from the earlier post) is longer than 255 characters...
Make it as an IS Boxer macro action, instead of a keystroke action with the macro in Warcraft.
