So I want to start 10-boxing..
Mainly for pvp however with the LFR, I would do that to later on.
My question now is, like a million before me have asked, what to pick!

I was thinking of
-Shamans
-Priests
-...

I know alot of you will say shamans cause of the easy healing etc.
however the priests also have healing...

also look at the MoP talents,

So im looking forward to read the reply's!

Greetingz!

Hello, I'm also looking to getting into 10boxing this weekend, my plans so far:
http://raidcomp.mmo-champion.com/?c=e1omm6gpaa2000022222m0000mmmmm0000000000
Grp 1-2 PvE team, rest is what I need for the 10man pvp teams.

I hope the PvE raiding team is easy enough to macro and handle, 1class only teams seems to be fairly easy.
With the Remorseless Winter for DKs I think willl be very good in the start of MoP, aoe dmg + stun.

So if you're looking for 1class team, shamans or DKs, this is what I'm planning atleast :)

EIDT: Also just saw the new Soul Reaper spell for DKs... gonna be fun in arena for sure.

So i might go with the shamans like ash does..
But still.. Why are priests not qualified?
The got aoe dmg. Nice burst. Self healing while dpsing..
And with vempiric dominance you also heal 15% to 3 nearby hurt allies..

Shadow priest? maybe for LFR it would be nice, but do they have enough burst dmg for PvP?
I just don't see enough dmg comming out of disc priests to be able to do LFR either.
Hm, might work, never tried boxing priests at 85.

You could get away with 5 disc 5 ele shamans in LFR but your DPS would not be high enough for ultraxion, on deathwing's back parts of LFR. Maybe not even the final fight with Deathwing. You need a good steady 15k dps to be productive and Disc priests just cant do that and use PoH. There is a TON of AOE damage in fights and you wouldnt be able to keep up.

We could ask cyrberus this..
As he has been boxing priests for a while at high lvl
Lets hope he reads this ^^

If priests aint viable, i'LL be forced to go shammy's ofcourse

Double post

Edit: just to clear things up, im talking bout shadow priests, not discs

If I had 10 accounts I'd go with the following for sure:

Paladin Tank
Bear Tank
Resto Druid
Resto Shaman
Holy Paladin
5x Mages

Mages for burst damage and versatility between fire and arcane and ease in macroing. The three different healers are not too difficult to control together - resto druid could do a castsequence completely ignoring reactive healing - just need wild growth on cooldown, refresh lifebloom on cooldown, and macro rejuv to your other two healers' direct heals. Paladins are the most powerful tank healers imo. You also cover all armor classes so nothing goes to waste, and your tanks and healers gear up fastest.

Bear tank and paladin tank gives you a powerful off-tank and dps in cat form (extremely difficult to macro but powerful if you take the time to set up the "do not advance for xx seconds" in ISBoxer) and Bears have the most powerful 4-set bonus in the game if glyphed.

When you say nothing is wasted, don't forget the token drops:

1. Death Knight, Druid, Mage, Rogue
2. Paladin, Priest, Warlock
3. Hunter, Shaman, Warrior

Try and build your 10 box comp around these 3 token combinations if you want to gear quickly. If you're gonna go with one class for DPS like Shaman/Mage it might be best if you don't choose any other class from that token.

It's my understanding that they're removing damage based healing from the game.

Im currently 10 boxing a melee group and love it. 4x enh sham, 4x frost dk, prot or holy pally, and resto druid.

I pvp alot and it is great! basically untouchable. have 2 shams in each group providing 2.4k heals per second with their heal totems and resto druid spamming wild growth every time its up. Then when needed every 3-5 hits get instant shaman 20k+ x4 heal or massive 4x chain heal or even healing rain. I have 5x battle rez with the dks and druid as well. Pretty sexii.

That is not until MoP. We still have many months before that is a concern.

It's been stated that they don't want disc priest healing with smite anymore in MOP.

Vampiric Dominance seems like it could be incredibly exploitable for boxing PvE in MoP.

Using something correctly with its design intent is not exploiting.

Using something correctly with its design intent is not exploiting.

To exploit simply means to use, generally for profit/gain.

I just meant it might be worth looking at for 10boxing. Stacked priests could take care of most of the raid healing, depending on the range of the heal from you/your target. I'm assuming it will be the same range as the VE.
