Autbots Roll Out vs Horde PuG in AV

So we took advantage of AV weekend and started queuing together and managed to get everyone in to face what we believe were a majority of German players.

German players in AV are notoriously known for long games and well, thats what happened. They capped every tower and we were unable to cap any but we defended Dun Baldar to the point where they would never cross the bridge anymore. We had 90 reinforcements, they had 430, and we finished on 0 and them 125. Farmed much?

My 1 death at the end was because of the wtf zerg, but I didn't die until we had 25 reinforcements left and I suicided to make the game end quicker :>

Almost all of the objectives met, but a well defended bridge for them to cross...

A lot of us in <The Zerg> on magtheridon horde do something similar to this all the time, when were not rolling with RathStrat AV, were doing guild premades, I really enjoy the long battles and winning by reinforcements. Usually we win with like 576+ to 0. On AV weekend we do throw the occasional (Alterac Blitz) to help people get acheives, we've got it down to around 4:30 repeateable It really keeps the alliance on their toes when you switch between reinforcement battle and blitz lol. Good times, it also brings out the <Tears of Newbz> for some good ol' http://www.ragewhispers.com #endrant

When you do blitz, what set up do you have?

We don't have many geared PVE chars :>

Generally 2 Solo tanks with 180khp+ and at least one 5box dk in blood x frost. most of the time we use our 5box druid heal team, and it's gg. blow all cd's run in, dps icewing marshall to 15-20% then unload on van. Some of our shorter burst, mages etc. wait until iwmarshall is down to around 60% until they blow cd's

We will also have 1-2 10 x Hunters go in and pet tank van... tank grabs icewing captain out and we bust him down... after he is down we AOE span Vann and will kill the other captains with massive AOE. I will roll 5 resto shammys + my disc priest for a dedicated heal team. If we have the 18 hunters we only need one DK to grab out the icewing captain. Healing rain x 5 + lots of healstream totems + chain heal until healing rain is back off CD = win... 5 x spirit link totems helps as well.
