Hello again..

I made a thread recently, got it fixed with the help of some of you guys PMs, thanks!

Now, I saw a movie once with a guy Multiboxing DK's, where they like -circled- around the enemy.. Now, I have hunters at level 23 at the moment, but I feel like trying melee too.

I noticed that when I put follow and go, they don't really hit the target...

How can I make it possible for my melee characters (DK's) to run up in melee range instead of not really being in range by following the main-guy?

Thanks.

That is for ISBoxer, though!

(I use KEyclone)

I don't believe that keyclone has the ability to use multiple steps/toggles, so you will need a seperate key to interact with target. Setup for interact with target and click to move starts at the bottom of post 4 in the below thread.

Because you will have to manually trigger the IWT command, you will not consistantly get the orbiting action you saw in that video. That is achieved by rapidly and repeatedly sending the IWT command, usually at a 1:1ratio with the spammed Dps key. That is usually something like key gets pressed = Dps, key gets released = IWT so that IWT is getting sent several times a second.

You could do one key spam with Keyclone.
Use the /changeactionbar command.

Do the equivalent of five action bars.

On Bar 1:
- Key 1: Howling Blast
- Key 2: Not a macro, but have '2' bound as your IWT keybind for your DK's.

On bar 2:
- Key 1: Frost Strike

On bar 3:
- Key 1: Necrotic Strike

On bar 4:
- Key 1: Howling Blast

On bar 5:
- Key 1: Frost Strike

Each of these would be a macro.

#show Howling Blast
<Insert Assist Method>
/startattack
/use Trinket
/cast Howling Blast
/changeactionbar 2

Change the macro on Bar 2 (still key 1), to refer to the 2nd spell.
And change the actionbar change to bar 3.

On the last bar, change action bar back to bar 1.

Now you can spam straight "1", for the DPS sequence.
And you can spam "2" for the IWT stuff, with your melee.

*Edit*
I would actually go to the IS Boxer site.
Either Lavishsoft or IS Boxer.

And register to get a free trial of IS Boxer.

Play around with it for a week, for free.
Then decide if $10 is worth 3 months, or $36 is worth a year of it.
Keeping in mind, you'll be spending $900 a year on subscriptions for 5 Warcraft accounts... so $36 isn't that much.

But also knowing...
KC is great at straight key replication.

So you can put something on "2' on your DK's, and have that key blank on your healer.
Then press "2" and have it go to everyone, and do nothing on the toon with no key there.

With IS Boxer, you'd set it up differently.
Hot Key 2:
Action: Send 2, to Target: Your DK's.

When I press "1".
My DK's get: Howling Blast, Frost Strike, Howling Blast, Frost Strike, Necrotic Strike, Death Coil, Interact With Target, and Mind Freeze.
It pushes each of those, either on press or release.
Because of the Global Cooldown, only one can fire off (except for Mind Freeze and IWT, neither of which on on the GCD).
The Mind Freeze will only fire off when I push the key, but no matter how I spam it (because of my settings) it will not fire off more often than once every 2.5 seconds.

When I press "1".
The Paladin receives "1" on odd presses.
The Paladin receives "2" on even presses.

So I spam a single key, and sometimes the Pally gets "1" and sometimes "2".
And the DK's get a random spell (which often cannot fire off, due to the Global Cooldown, lack of Runic Power, lack of an available Rune, etc)...
But I spam at 5-6 clicks per second, which means they essentially use everything, almost as soon as it is avaible.
(The class mechanic is a random rune refreshes.... so a straight sequence, as illustrated for KC, would not be as effective as the IS Boxer approach (with Steps and/or sending several keys at once).

I'm not saying you have to go with IS Boxer.
Just that...
It's not that expensive in relation to your other costs.
And it is far more powerful, just on the keystroke stuff.

Plus there are a lot of features.

With KC, you have:
#show
/assist [target=focus]
/startattack
/cast Howling Blast

With IS Boxer you have:
#show
/startattack
/cast Howling Blast

As in, no need for any assist, the software does that for you.

If you press Death and Decay...
With KC, you press it, and then move your mouse to a slave window and direct it yourself.
Or press the round-robin mouse click key, lose control of your interface for 3-4 seconds, as it switches from one to the next and clicks in the same relative position on each.

With IS Boxer, you press the hotkey for the mapped key.
And it does a "Send Next Click" action, in the frame of choice.
You move the mouse in real time, in your main window, and there is a phantom mouse (complete with targeting circle) moving in the same relative position on your slave window.... as soon as you click the mouse broadcast is off, and only the slave window got the click (the main window has not run somewhere).

I have Shift A, which enables mouse broadcast for all four DK's.
All at the same time, each with their own targeting circle.
I use this to dump D&D at my feet, for maximum AoE.

I have Alt A, which sends the click to DK A only.
And on the next press, to DK B only.
And the next press to DK C only.
Etc....

A far more powerful program.
But not required to play with, just something that makes your play far more enjoyable.
