Loading screen when switching toons

Does anyone know of a way to truly instantly switch toons? I have Mosg's setup at the moment and having my main screen get a loading screen when switching really blows.

Sounds like an issue I had when I forgot to set the game to fullscreen windwo mode

I had it on windowed (thought it was better). Selecting Fullscreen Windowed fixed it, thank you.

After starting up again today, the problem is back. All windows are set to fullscreen windowed. :(

Not being in fullscreen (Windowed) is exactly what the problem is. Double check your game settings in game, and also double check your ISBoxer settings so that you dont see the "force the game into full screen" or something like that within your character set and character slots. Also double check your window layout profile. There must be some discontinuity in there somewhere.

Should "force the game into full screen" be on or off? its currently on. The game prefs all say fullscreen windowed. On the window layout, I'm using 2 monitors. One main monitor and then on the second monitor i have the 3 followers that swap to the main. What should I look for on there?

mmmm, not sure. Im at work right now, so i cant verify, but I wanna say that should be off.

For anyone that has this issue in the future, it looks like I had "Use instant window swapping" turned off. Thank you all.
