So, I am waiting on my current eve and wow accounts to expire before I completely do SWTOR. I currently play a level 50 Merc and love it. I did have a few questions that I would like to present:

1. All the isboxer videos with 4 SWTOR accounts show the single main screen and none of the slave screens. Does the click screen or (swap window) function not work because of the game itself?
2. My group I really want to do was 1 Powertech (tank) and 3 Mercs (all hybird build with healing mixed in). Is there a solution to being able to have the mercs all fire death form above (targeted aoe)?
3. I see the group makeup is typically 1 tank and 3 sorcs. Can anyone else post there working group makeup?
4. Do most people play there toons to level 10 before they all meet to run in a group mode?
5. The heroics and instances are my favorite things to play. Are there any recommended levels that you should quest between content?

Any other suggestions would be great. I have until the end of the month before I start my 3 additional subscriptions to SWTOR. By then all my wow and eve accounts will be expired.

Thanks again

It works for me. I have 4 visible windows at the same time.

It might be hard due to camera problems. And in WOW all slaves are at same position, in SWTOR there is some kind of formation. They are only spread a little so death from above might still work.

I have powertech and 3 sorcs, so I dont know

4. Do most people play there toons to level 10 before they all meet to run in a group mode?

I soloed first with the powertech up till 50. But the 3 sorcs i level together since level 1.

I do not really understand your question. In general you best finish all the class quests. Else you cant pick up the dailies later which give you good gear and credits.

With mercs I would really like to learn how to handle the overheating problem with the slaves. With sorcs there is no real complicated energy management problem :)

2. Yes. Mouse repeater. Although its not perfect.
3. There are many different groups. Basically need a tank and a healer, even in dps spec. Many different combos. I.e. 2 warrior n 2 sorc
4. Varies. I know boxers to play 4x the same toon to level 10 then let them sit, and mix and match. I know boxers who solo them separately then box them.
5. Not sure I understand this question. Picking up FPs and Heroics are a matter of what level you are. And repeatable.

Theres a ton of information in the SWTOR forums for helpful tips and points to box... healing, video feeds, repeater regions, setup guides, 2 man, 3 man, 4 man, PVP setups, warzone threads. Best advice Id give is to read a lot.

I have been using a 3 man setup with 2 marauders and a sorcerer. Overall things are going well although the group is only level 13 so obviously I have limited experience with this configuration. My question is regarding what experiences you folks have using one of the marauders to be lead for the group or to use the sorcerer as lead, sending the marauders out to do damage. This works pretty well since I can use the marauder ability of force charge which puts them onto the first target and into melee range. The problem then is that if the npc group is spread out there doesnt seem to be a good way to get them to run over to attack other npc that is out of melee range (until force charge drops out of cooldown or I run my sorcerer up to melee range of the next target and then call the marauders to follow/assist me). I really like playing from the healer position since it gives me a better overall view of the fight and I can better control my sorcerer.

Any thoughts or suggestions on play style when using a combo of dps and healer toons? Thanks in advance for any suggestions you might have.

Seeing there is no interact with target in swtor at the moment there is no viable solution if you run with your healer. The only way I understand to keep melee dps on a target without force charge is to have them follow the lead character.

To me it would seem more prudent to use a ranged tank like a Powertech if you intend to run your team through the healer. The PT can continue to draw the attention of the next group of mobs, and when your charge/grapple abilities come off cooldown you can close the gap.

I've always found it better to play the tank and control the dps through isboxer and different movment keys. Like i set up my A,D keys for strafe on my Ranged dps/Heals. and i use my Arrow keys to move them when i dont want them to acutally follow. Best setup I think might be Tank 2 range dps and a healer. That way you can charge in with the tank keep your dps and heals stacked and then strafe them out of ground aoe or move them forward and back.

Exactally how I have my 2-box set up - WASD through my Juggernaught; UP and Down arrows passed to my second toon for movement, Right arrow is strafe up/right, Left arrow is strafe down left. This gives me 90% of what I need on my second character.
