Farming is super easy for this and i've make 500k in 2 days with it. So anyone considering this for gold making... do it.

For the lazy .. the key to this is the bracelets.
Get a Lovely Charm Collector's Kit, then go kill fast respawning & easy to kill mobs that still grant xp/faction/etc. (risen soldiers in Icecrown, slags in HoT, little adds in Ozumat tunnel in ToT, etc...)
The charms automagically appear in your inventory when you kill mobs, like grisly tokens.
People have reported getting around 1000 charms (i.e. 100 love tokens) an hour or so using these methods. (you need 2700 to make one mount - 10 charms = 1 bracelet = 1 love token)
You can, of course, do dailies to get love tokens, but you're limited to something like 40 tokens a day.
These bracelets have no daily limit.
For those of us who box, it's even better.

Regarding ToT, do you have one char in each one and just spam repeater or something?

On this pic of ash is where i am, if you go just behind to the right is a great place,,4 packs spawn every few seconds,,,placed 3 shaman in front at the end of narrow path (spread) and 2 behind them facing other way. then just tab and chain lightning/lightning bolt whilst watching some tv

Was farming slags in HoL (normal) and the drop rate on lovely charms seems really low. I get like 1 per toon per wave of spawns. Hardly seems worth it.
On the other hand, Grisly trophys are dropping about 5 times as fast.

ya thedrop rare seems a lot lower then before i got 40 there in less then 15m but now am lucky to get 10 in that time. maybe the massed it up with the hot fix

Slags were hotfixed with a slightly lower drop chance as was ToT... but i still filled 94 slots in 4 hours. 6 monts selling at 15k per in 4 hours = 22.5k gold an hour.

ALL i've been doing is farming this crap... about 12 hours a day for the past two days. Broke half a mill.

I farmed TotT tonight and in a little over 30 minutes I had a bit over 100 charms on each toon, over 500 total. This would get you 1000 charms an hour easy.

I just dont have the patience you guys have. After 30 minutes I was too bored and stopped.

I assume your are getting 94 * 40 = 3760 charms in 4 hours, which implies 940 charms per hour for single toon? This farming is ... very efficient. I couldn't even farm more than a 1000 charms per toon at TotT after 3 hour. They nerf the drop rate drastically? or you have special trick to the farming? or I just understand wrongly?

I believe you will have the same per hour on 1 as you will on 5. If you have just one toon all the drops go to him, multiple toons and they are distributed between them.

Does seem easier to farm the gold to buy the mount then to farm the mount itself. It seems blizzard is nerfing the drop rate on all the areas people farm the charms that can be found on WoWhead.

As a multi-boxer i am making 20k an hour doing this.

I tried this for the first time last night in ToT which worked fairly well. Unless I'm doing something wrong you have to get past the first two bosses before you can get to the tunnel, with that, doing this alone was more of a pain in the ass than I wanted to attempt on one toon. Not to mention I forgot to take off (Heroic) before I went in the first time and needless to say that didn't go well. I got lazy, rolled through the first part with my team of 5 and left three in the tunnel. I left two shamans and one rogue, leaving the two shamans pointing in opposite directions with the rogue in the middle spamming FoK, the rogue probable worked the best but between the three of them I had full coverage and protection against any squirters. I added /cast autoattack (or start attack I can't remember) + /cast lightning storm for mana to my Chain lightning macro and didn't look back. I rolled the other two in the DF and just farmed while I while I knocked out my weekly VP. In a couple of hours I think I ended up with about 800 on each toon (800 X 3). Combine that with the Daily Dungeon Finder Heart Shaped Box at the end of the day getting about 6-8 tokens x 5 roughly equals 1 mount or 30K on my server. Farming 15K per hour is good enough for me... not to mention thoughtless farming. Thanks for the input.

I now have 10 of these mounts, 5 each from two teams. The only problem now is that this late there are alot of people selling them in the AH. It may take a long time to see the gold from them.

I did have to farm the charms in ToT a little, just enough to get enough to turn in each of the dailies to the leaders. But other than that it was only from doing the dailies and killing the holiday boss.
