I am running into something strange in WOW, and have been seeing it for months now. When i run my 5 box set up on my one machine using ISboxer.... all is well. When i then go to do something with just a single character my latency goes red. The lag is awful. I run windows 7 64 pro, have 8 gigs of ram, and a xfx radeon HD 6950 video card. It seems to be an internet issue, but I can not seem to figure it out.

When I then go to run my box team again... again.. all is running well. Lag is gone. I am completely mystified by this. Has any one else had a similar experience? Or better know a way to fix it?

You can always use an ISBoxer Character Set to play one toon as well. :) Many people do this for the added feature set -- configuring hotkeys outside of WoW, Video FX, performance settings and virtual files, etc.

There are tons of posts on the official WoW forum about people with lag and disconnect issues. I am pretty sure your problem is related to the patch somehow.

ISBoxer is probably setting some performance options for WoW that the WoW launcher is setting the opposite. If that makes sense.

Every patch something breaks for some people.

I just started doing that and it fixed the problem. Thank you Lax. Damn it though... Blizzard i should not have to use my multibox software to run decently while only using one of my toons. :(
