Hello,
I'm new to multiboxing. Currently leveling my first team 4xshaman and 1 pally @ level 42 (not RAFing)
Is dungeon finder the fastest way to go for a team of 5? If not, what is?
What's a typical /played time for you guys when you ding 85 (again, not RAFed).
Thanks!

I levelled 15 - 46 in a few nights so far using random dungeons, total play time is 18 hours - but that's not solid levelling.
The bonus EXP upon completing a random dungeon is fairly significant - once I've done a run completing quests, all subsequent runs are the shortest route to the end boss, this completing the instance and gaining the exp reward.
@ lvl 46 i took a moment to go get my mounts - up until now my warriors and shaman have been positioned by the trainers.

Dungeon Finder is the way to go in my opinion.

^agree, with the occasional quest chain to break up the repetition.

Random Dungeon's are the best because of gather quests. You will never know pain until you try doing a gather quest where every 5 or so mobs drops one 1/10 on 5 different toons. I hate you blizzard for cata questing...

But I do!
Got tired of instances so went questing. First few quests are "kill X mobs" so I'm thinking this is going great. Then I get:
Collect 6 eggs and collect 10 something from whelps. Decided to do it anyway. HUGE mistake.
Not leaving instances ever again :)

Oh amen! My excitement when Cata came out quickly vanished when I realised that Blizzard had littered every zone and every quest chain with gathering quests with low drop rates :(
I'm not sure how you'll fare with Cata dungeons due to the lack of a tank in your set up but get some practice at your pally going prot and a shaman going rest cus you'll certainly need it if you intend to dungeon at high levels.
That being said, dungeons at low lvls, quest at high end (80-85) has been my method. For your next team, I suggest BG levelling with full heirlooms. Has made levelling quite a bit of fun when I play a set of toons on AV/IoC CtA :)

This is alot of fun just be ready to hear people constantly complaining that you have xtoons on follow and they should report you afk. I did this on one of my teams, both my healers topped healing and my three DPS topped damage and people still complained all game long.
One WSG my warrior had 7 flag returns on his own and we couldn't get a single cap. We lost the BG and people actually blamed me boxing because I could have been replaced by people who could actually "contribute" to the BG.

But that is exactly my setup :)
Pally is prot and one shaman is resto.
As for pvp leveling, I'll try that on my 5 locks I guess.

Some people will always complain when seeing others playing the game in a way they don't. Some people just work that way, everything they don't do themselves must automatically be considered wrong. Just ignore them. ;)
About leveling, what is fastest way from 80 to 85? Is questing best choice?
