As some of you know, I 10 box on WoW and I've got a second PC that I use to record my main desktop.

Blackmagic Intensity Pro is a HDMI capture card I've got inside my second PC. It's connected via HDMI cable to my graphics card in my main PC and appears as a monitor. I've extended my desktop onto it and put a dxNothing region there with a viewer for my main Window. On my second PC I have xsplit running for the stream and recording capabilities.

Heres a video of some PVP in Durotar yesterday

All recorded on my second PC to lessen the burden of fraps on my primary PC, plus, when I get my audio mixer (somewhere on my long list of things to buy) i'll be then able to capture what comes from my microphone as all you can hear in the video is the trolls on TeamSpeak.

Need to see if theres a way I can get it to output as progressive rather than interlaced because you can see some weird lines sometimes but overall, I recommend it as a solution for anyone who wants to fraps/stream without putting more pressure on their main computer.

The blackmagic intensity pro pci card cost me about £150~

You could always de-interlace in your post processing. It may not be the cleanest solution, but at least it would get rid of the lines.
