Is it possible to kill the "Caps Lock" key with a modification to windows? or even better reassign it to something else? Since its such a big key it would be another nice spam-able emergency button. For example many keyboard manufacturers have a switch to enable/disable the windows key. I could just remove the physical key but i was looking for something with a little more finesse.

As for altering theactual behavior of CapsLock that would probably take some sort of registry hack I'm guessing.
Found something. I'll try it out when i get home. Hope it works. (http://www.askvg.com/force-capslock-numlock-and-scrolllock-keys-behavior-using-windows-registry/)
