What to do 8 boxing

Ok first and foremost my #1 bottleneck is my interweb connection. Which is verizon 3g. My normal ping is about 130. Unless i am in stormwind which i shoot to about 300+. I run my graphics at Extremely Poor, and it takes alot of strain of my pc.

I was talking to shaman guy on magtheridon, and he was telling me that he runs his 10 box on 2 pcs.


My question is this:

1.) Do I need two similar performing high end pcs to box well

2.) Do I need one top end ( main ) pc, and a so-so alt pc.

I am looking at upgrading my current pc, and wondered if i must buy two.

1.) you don't need two similar performing PCs, just enough to keep the minimum framerate halfway decently will suffice for the second pc.

2.) Keep what you got for the second pc. Maybe upgrade it to a SSD, and one run up on the graphics, but if its getting by now, you could just leave it be and build a newer one for the main pc and be just fine.

My main pc right now is:

Nvidia 780 sli mobo
Intel q6500 2.4 ghz quad core
8gb ram (max for board)
2x9800 GTX+ in sli
650 watt psu
500 gb 7200 Root hdd
1TB storage hdd

i do have issues with it lagging after 4 windows, but i will be running 4 per pc.

should i upgrade this pc as well?

Well i finally hit 80 on my druid set.

Unfortunately, there is so much lag when i go into AV. I am in the green at the beginning of the map. Then hit TP and everything goes to red.

I noticed at high pop in SW i go to crap as well.

I am on the 3G i know, but is there a way to tell if my PC is to blame or the internet...one i can fix...the other, i can either go to satellite hughes net or dial up.

If your FPS is lagging = Computer
If its slow when you type in guild chat and/or cast spells = Internet
