Boomkin Help

So I got my first team to 85 Which is a Prot Pally,. 2 x Ele Sham, 1 x Hunter and a Boomkin. My issue right now is that I RAF'd the Boomkin so I don't have a damn clue how to play it very effectively while multiboxing. I'm working to gear the team Solo with LFG but before I go in and really show people what I don't know about my owlbear I was hoping to get some pointers on how to get the most out of the dude. I would greatly appreciate any help... if your wondering why I dont' just google Moonkin guides I can't open most wow websites at work, damn military... thankfully dual-boxing made it through...

Thanks! that was a great place to start... my head hurts a little bit from staring at all of the different Macros but I think I understand the process...

I just use a macro lengthening addon to make a macro long enough to handle eclipse, and have an opposite macro to handle starsurge procs.

Are boomkins one button DPS though? Or VideoFX to see the procs?

In my macros that are linked to above, they are a one-button press system.

EatCarbs is talking about a two-button system which I'm certain will give you better DPS, but at the cost of having to pay some attention to your Boomkin.

For me, trying to 10-box Dragon Soul, paying attention to one of my DPSers to squeeze out a bit more DPS falls WAY below paying attention to heals, proper positioning, using the appropriate tank cooldowns, heals, making sure my hunter is far enough away so he isn't meleeing, heals, running to the crystals/slimes, making sure my DKs are close enough to actually be attacking, boucing the ball, heals, tank swaps, etc.

So yeah, one button Boomkin for me :p

How much DPS are you pulling with the one button macro?

I'm still umming and aaahhhing over 10 druids or 10 dks next.

In LFR I usually average around 17K on my Boomkins and 22K on my DKs on normal fights without any DPS increase mechanics. Both using a one button 2-step macro.

Yeah I'll probably do 10 DKs to 81 and then 10 druids.

Spam LFG 4 at a time then boost the last two.
