I had a blinding flash of the obvious this morning... I had been running my clients 4 on one screen split 2x2 and one on the other screen... this ran pretty reasonably but I'd run into situations where I'd lag often... I knew I was pushing my system hard anyhow...
This morning I had a BFO and instead of running the 4 clones @ half resolution I took the height of the screen and divided it by four so I'm using a lot less screen for those 4 clients... Running them now using about 1/3rd of the 2nd monitor overall I'm seeing about 10-15% less CPU usage! PIP is more responsive (though goes horribly pixelated while wow resizes from tiny to big, only lasts about 1-2 seconds) and the small windows are still big enough to do things like quest turn ins and such.

The 15fps on the main screen is because I have to focus the desktop to get a full screenshot, but normally it locks in @ 30fps where I capped it by command...

very nice. and yea.. it would shave a bit off your cpu/gpu load as you've reduced the total # of pixels being pushed to the screen
loving the screenshot

Can you post a screenshot of your keyclone settings in Maximizer to get it to look like that on one screen?Nope, thats not one screen.
region0 is display1, 0,0,1680,1050 - hotkey CTRL-Num0
pip01 is display2, 870,0,410,256 - hotkey CTRL-Num9
pip02 is display2, 870,256,410,256 - hotkey CTRL-Num6
pip03 is display2, 870,512,410,256 - hotkey CTRL-Num3
pip04 is display2, 870,768,410,256 - hotkey CTRL-Num.
Display 1 is a 22" LCD @ 1680x1050
Display 2 is a 19" LCD @ 1280x1024
If you look closely you can see that the 4 smaller clients are indeed 26 pixels shorter all together than the big client.
Waiting on the BRA (keyBound Region Access) feature of BOOBS in keyclone to make it so I can just press those hotkeys to activate the right client then I'll have a fully functional main switching setup :). Combine that with upgrading to a quad core and I feel I'll finally be ready to rock some 5v5 pvp (just need to gear up the mages/priests).

so.. you like BOOBS but think it needs to be restrained with BRA...

I see you have Keyclone set to start all clients at once. How do you set that up?

I see you have Keyclone set to start all clients at once. How do you set that up?It starts 1 after the next... I setup 5 commands, and in the command box I typed:
aazan;bazan;cazan;gnusmas;kitarra
For my pickle jar and the shaman I was much lazier...

I guess I just haven't fooled around with enough in fear of breaking the setup.

I guess I just haven't fooled around with enough in fear of breaking the setup.Copy your keyclone.ini file before making any changes, then if you bollox it up you just restore that file and you are back to functional.

on lesson I learned... Don't name a region Main!!!
Titghtly Immured Transpositioned Screens Left In Nominal Grouping ? Can't wait for BRA though.
It can get confusing after changing main a couple of times to try and get back to my tank

Make sure window where main is originally is focused and press any PiP button twice?

@Oldin
hitting a pip key will swap the specified region with the current region.
hitting the pip key for the region you are in will bring the original window back to its position

All right, as I gathered from one of the sticky threads. If let's say we have region0 - region1 - region2 -region3 as our setup we have region0 active
press region2 hotkey end up with
region2 - region1 - region0 - region3
now press region1 hotkey and see
region1 - region0 - region2 - region3
Now as we have the window where region0 was originally if we press region1 hotkey again we end up with the original order of the regions.
If we press region3 twice we end up again with the original order of the regions. Or am I totally mistaken on how PiP and BOOBS work?
