4 shamans + DK tank

I have a very fun lvl 75+ group of 4 shamans + DK tank.
Currently one resto and three elementals. Is this a preferred combo or should I have more (or all) as resto and, if possible, only heal tank with heal-over-time: 4x Riptide + 4x Healing totem?

Will resto shamans have terrible dps output compared to elemental?

Yes resto DPS sucks... but you could have a round robin multi-step set up to cast riptides and then do lightningbolt (telluric currents for mana), flame shock, lavaburst... it is doable but would be slow. Probably more preferred would be to have elementals and if necessary run with 2 resto and 2 elementals until you can get past the content gear wise.

Elemental dps isnt that great either.

I think the hardest part of your setup is DK tanking. Because of how they tank there isnt really a spamable macro, you wont get the best use out of them. Easier to use a bear or pali.
