If you are looking to use an authenticator, is it better to have multiple wow accounts tied to the same Battlenet account or have each account tied to a different Battlenet Id? Can you even do multiple RAF accounts on the same Battlenet account ( cuz of email address)?
Yes, you can do RAF on the same Battlenet account and e-mail address. I would highly suggest using a single account if you're planning on 2-5 boxing. You can use one authenticator and with the recent authenticator ip address "memory", I only have to input the code once while logging on instead of 5 times, which gets me up and running that much faster, and I have Authenticator protection for all my accounts.

Each BNet account requires its own physical authenticator these days. If you have 5 BNet accounts, and want them protected,
you'll then need 5 authenticators.

The limit is 8 retail WoW accounts per BNet and they can all be RaF'd together.

Unless you're going for more than five accounts, I'd put them on the same B.Net account.
That way, one authenticator is all you need.
Often, the game doesn't ask for my authenticator code.
But when it does, it will take you around 2.5 minutes to log in.
If you were to put them onto their own B.Net emails.
You would need an authenticator for each account.
And to remember which one was tied to each account.
You'd get into the game a little faster, when it calls for the authentication code.
But you'd miss out on Battle.Net bound items.

I usually got asked for my Auth about once a week. With 5 on 1 Bnet, I only have to enter my Auth code once, not 5 times anymore.

Good to know.

Should mention that you only have to enter it once if you aren't automating the login process with your key broadcaster. For those of us who automate the login process, you'll have to cancel out and manually log in under each account or you'll have to enter X number of Authenticator codes.
