RAF Boosting 70-80

Just dinged 70 on my 2team of Hunter/Shaman. Im boosting with a 84 feral druid

I'm in The Nexus right now as I found it is easier to Aoe and run through this place than UK. Was wondering if you guys feel the same.

What has been the quickest 70-80 for you? Any tips for these last 10 levels? I think im getting about 16-17% a Nexus run @ level 70 so far.

This is how I've been doing it recently, I get tired of running Azjol Nerub and Ahn'Kahen... particularly Azjol Nerub... I hate the last boss there..

I try to move to new dungeons to do the quest that are available. A Change in the last patch put quest givers at the beginning of almost every dungeon which really makes it easier to find and finish the dungeon quest. More quest will also bring in a little more gold to help level the toons and pay for their mount training. I’ve been getting enough gold just doing the dungeon quests to get everyone trained up to cold weather flying without having to send them any cash.

I use my rogue as a booster which is not normal however being in a LVL 25 guild gives him Mass Res If I'm not paying attention and someone gets killed also FOK makes killing things extremely easy, It only gets iffy near level 80

70-72 -> The Nexus (RAF/Summoning Stone) If you get tired of doing the Nexus you can also do Utgarde Keep (70-72)(It now has three quest right inside the door)

72-75 -> Azjol Nerub, Ahn'Kahen, Violet Hold (RAF/Summoning Stone)

75-77 -> Drak'tharon keep (74-76), Gundrak (76-78) (RAF/Summing Stone)

77-79 -> Halls of Stone (77-79) Halls of Lightning (78-80) (RAF/Summing Stone)

79-80 -> Utgarde Pinnacle (78-80) I use the quest here to help me hit 81 with Grant a level. I’ll watch my B and D accounts and once they almost hit 80 I’ll Grant a Level them to 80.99 and then turn in all of the quest here to punch them over.

80-81 -> Questing (Hyjal)


I think im getting about 16-17% a Nexus run @ level 70 so far.

At 70 I would expect you to get more than 16-17% per run, even if you have no Guild Perks or Heirloom gear but I could be wrong. I think I'm only doing each dungeon two maybe three times before I level with the gear. The last 10 levels are a bit painful, I just broke it up over two days to prevent myself from going batshit crazy. That being said I would stick with boosting here because doing the 5x Collection quest in Cataclysm with a full team would make even Ghandi feel like firing the nukes.

I've been levelling a 4x DK and sham team up via dungeons. Around lv73 I noticed that a dungeon clear (voa, dtk, or gundrak) was only gettting me about 10% a clear with guild perks, no rested and no boas. Was very very slow. I ended up starting a new caster team and getting the team up to 75 on rested. (stopped there since I don't need more lvls for transmute alchys.)
