Black Screen under stress

I have a GTX 480 and an ATI 4870 in my PC at the moment.

Under stress, like battlegrounds (AV) I occasionally have both monitors go black whilst the Nvidia card 'recovers'.

Do I just accept this as a characteristic of the GTX 480? or is there something I can do.

Could be low on voltage. Grab MSI Afterburner and try bumping it up a notch or two.
