I've started up my DK's again.

I'm basically using: http://www.dual-boxing.com/showthread.php?t=37658
Except that I'm prioritizing Mastery > Haste.
I've also taken Blood Strike out of the rotation, as Frost doesn't need to spend Blood Runes anymore.
And will be going with two one-handers, instead of the 2-hander once I I've earnt the minimum 7,250 honor this season and have sufficient honor to buy both weapons (no point in dual-wielding one weapon).

I'll likely switch my talents to: http://www.wowhead.com/talent#jfZGIorfzRdfzb
Don't need the Strangulate, now that I'm not doing arena and am only playing in BG's.
Chances are the extra point in dual-wield (tier 1) will outweigh the 1/2 rating in On a Pale Horse.

If you aren't that concerned about min/maxing, then there really isn't any difference. I am switching to 2h so I can try out other specs.

Theres really zero reason to dual-wield unless you are human running a kaz trinket build.

I would dual wield if I didn't have to spend 2 x2450 points for weps. It's annoying that every other class can get their weps with the cheap off hand but considering DKs can't wield fist weps, we can't get an offhand str wep, only the onehander...

I prefer dual wielding, I get more ooomph out of it. That's a reason

Stacking necrotics is better with 2h weps.

i noticed an increase in dps and the time it takes to kill players in pvp while duel weilding. can't attest to it's pve difference tho

Unless you can DW souldrinker weapons (http://www.wowhead.com/item=78479) ... it's pretty crazy solo, so I can only imagine it's crazy when you have multiple dk's ...

no'kalade or w/e it is is actually better due to proc chance.

Yeah I've read about that for pve (assuming you mean the AGI weapon), but I see the healing of souldrinket to be better for a pretty squishy class like the DK in pvp. The more cause the proc is much higher than on the agi weapon.

The healing is very low actually in general. And weapon can scale with dk mastery.

My play style is exclusively 40-man battlegrounds.
Specifically AV and IoC.
Once geared, I'll likely add AB and EotS to the mix, but will avoid SotA and the 10-man BG's.

I'll likely never step into an arena ever again, because I can get Conquest points from non-rated BG's.

My rotation is fairly exclusively the Howling Blast chain.
As in the Obliterate (melee range, not ranged) sequence is almost never used.
And the Death Strike stuff is almost not used too.

All else being equal...
Which is better for me...

Big 2-Hander, with Rune of the Fallen Crusader.
Two 1-Handers, a) Rune of the Fallen Crusader; and b) Razorice.
Weapons of the same iLV and type (2H Sword vs 2x 1H Swords) etc.

I don't have current season weapons yet, so can buy either in the near future.

If you are just doing bgs then you want dual-wield with pure mastery build.
