Using RAF to run a group of 5 Druids, all in instances, and have cleared about half of the BC dungeons. My group is 1 bear and 4 feral cats. Now that I have tranquility, my survivability even on boss fights is really high, so I'm pleased. My whole crew is now level 70, which is the highest level I've ever reached, so I have a few questions to you vets:

1. DPS - just looking for a benchmark here. All of my crew has 2H weapons with 100-106 dps rating on the weps. I'm parsing about 475dps on the cats, but over 700dps on the bear tank (fearie fire counts for the bear). Are these reasonable (23-26k group dps) at this level and on BC enemies?
2. XP - once I hit 70, the XP went from about 2k per kill (on RAF) to about 200 XP per mob. Is it because I'm level 70 but still in BC instead of WotLK?
3. Given the above, am I ready to do the entry level instances in WotLK?

Thanks for any insight!

You need to quest a bit in Northrend to get WotLK gear. Go to Borean Tundra. The beginning quests have a lot of good drops to gear up. Then try your hand at an instance. You most likely gonna need a dedicated healer though.

I'm the 1st to respond so you may get better advice than I.

or do some battlegrounds - Honor gear are cheap and ilv are 154-159 - for me it was a fun way to lv my mage team up to 75, when you hit lv 75 people will be in cata 78 green gear - no fun
- all so a easy and cheap way, to get the first gear for instances run - I did replace my instance blue drop with the pvp one - it was better :)

I'd get yourself some AH BoEs from LK and then start on instances straight away.

The first few instances (Utgarde Keep & Nexus) are great to farm and very simple boss fights so you shouldn't have a problem.

Might want to respec a cat to resto at some stage, or even turn your cats to boomies :P

Thanks all for the tips!

I think I'm pretty good on armor - have done quite a bit of AH work, and my iLvL on gear per character is about 100 worn (bit higher on the tank - tank is 14k Armor, 13k hp). I think my rotation may not be set up right and my dps may be too low. I did try Utgarde Keep and I struggle with the 3- and 4-pull groups, and the dragonkins were a real struggle, especially when they come with an add; in BC instances, I could easily tank down even overpulls of 6 or 7 elites, but the 30k+ hp on the elites in Utgarde seems to be past the tipping point - it just takes too long to burn down the enemy. Healing isn't really an issue, I can drop 4x Regrowth, Rejuv, and 2 sets of 2x Tranquility with hotkeys and never miss a beat on healing the bear or even spot heals on the cats. I think it's more a question of dps.

The group parses at about 28k dps now - do you expect I would get significantly better results as boomkin or moonkin?

Thanks again everyoine for the great feedback - and by the way the XP is back to normal (3k a mob on RAF) in Utgarde, so there must be a cap at 70 in BC instances. More feedback and ideas wwelcome and very appreciated!

Are you keeping your gear enchanted and gemmed? Don't go crazy but there are some decent DPS additions if you keep slots filled and some basic chants on your gear/

I went 68-80 in one day. With the RAF and the recent xp nerf, I blew through 68-80. I ended up picking and choosing which quests to do (focused on avoiding collection quests) and mainly spent my time in Borean Tundra, Zul'Drak, and Sholazar Basin. PvP in WotLK isn't all that much fun since the Blood DKs are just EVERYWHERE, but it's certainly better than the 55-59 and 60-64 brackets. I ran quite a few AV's since that neutralized their sting a little bit.
