View Full Version : [WoW] Interact With Target "All" or "All Others"

So I started putting my 5 paladin team together last night. I tried a new setup for IWT, and had the interact sent to all instead of all others. Found out this has an added behavior of targetting the nearest enemy on my main if it doesn't have a target.

Pro: This would make kill quests even easier, as you can just spam the button and run from enemy to enemy.

Con: If you don't target another enemy, your slaves will automatically loot the corpse they just killed, making collection quests easier.

Anyone have any input on this? I'm considering trying to implement both methods so I can choose which to use based on what I'm working on, I just wonder how I could do it elegantly.

My setup basically is this:

- An IWT key that goes to all windows, with a hotkey.
- An IWT key (I call this Melee IWT), that targets current window only, without a hotkey.
- An Action Target Group, with only my melee toons in it.
- An imbedded Do Mapped Key action, within each of my spammed DPS keys that does: Do Mapped Key Action > Melee IWT > Target the ATG with only my Melee toons in it.
- A toggle key, which enables and disables the Melee IWT key.

In practice...
I spam say "1" (The Hotkey).
That has the slaves assist the master (as per FTL DPS 1 -- Do mapped key: FTL Assist Me > Target: Current Window).
The imbedded mapped key, attempts to activate the Melee IWT key for the melee toons only.
If that key is active, they IWT the target.
If the key is inactive, then they cannot execute that mapped key.

Here is most of my IWT set up: http://www.dual-boxing.com/showpost.php?p=312469&postcount=3

The missing portion is a toggle.
A two step mapped key.
Step 1
- Pop Up Text Action > Current Window > "Melee IWT Enabled"
- Mapped Key State Action > All Windows > Enables the Melee IWT mapped key
Step 2
- Pop Up Text Action > Current Window > "Melee IWT Disabled"
- Mapped Key State Action > All Windows > Disables the Melee IWT mapped key

For this to work, you need to not use the wizard generated IWT key.
As that is a two-step, which enables CTM, sends IWT, and disables CTM.

You need CTM to stay on all the time.
You could modify the wizard generated key, such that it doesn't disable CTM.
Or delete it entirely.
