Multiple Account Questions

1. Can you activate multiple accounts under the same email? (I made a new email for my second account and my legacy name cannot be applied to it.)

2. When playing with a friend is there a way to do class quest together if you are the same class? (Yesterday my wife and I tried this and we had to chose which persons class instance to enter. Only one character received credit. I hope there is a way to do class quest together.)

2. yes. make sure in the social options to have "allow access same class..." sorry dont remember the exact statement.
edit: you'll have to do quest each time for each individual on the same quest.

To the best of my knowledge, there is no way to link your accounts together (e.g. a blanket account such as Battle.net accounts). If there was, I would have done so. I have two accounts, both in my name. Each has a separate e-mail address for logging in.

However, if you have a key-chain authenticator, you can link up to five accounts to the same authenticator. This is not the case with the Android app (which I also use).

Regarding your second question, think of it like this: If you could both do your class quests simultaneously and receive credit, it would be advantageous to exclusively group with other players who are your class for the purpose of completing class quests (unless you are only in it to the see the story). If you help, say, a smuggler complete his/her class quest and you're a Jedi Knight, it would take twice as long for the two of you to complete your class quests. I am assuming Bioware thinks that simply having a party member who is the same class doesn't entitle you to finish your quests any sooner than if you were grouping with a different class.

Also, I might have misunderstood you, OP. I thought you were asking if there was any way to receive credit for helping another person of your class complete a class quest that you have also. The above poster is correct in that you can physically enter the same instance if you check that option, although only one of you will receive credit, and you will have to repeat the instance twice if you both want credit.

On question 2 I made sure the check box for allowing others to enter was selected. The problem is only one person gets credit. Some of the quest are very long and it's going to suck for us to do them all twice. My wife and I made charcters that we will only level together. Perhaps it would be best to level different classes so we do not repeat every class quest in the game. We made two Bounty Hunters. I may change it to BH and IA in this case.

Yes. Only 1 class gets credit. You can actually hover over the Green entrance and it will tell you that. Only one Bounty Hunter allowed.

Its good to share if you need help completing it, if not then your best bet is to run it 2x

Yeah, that's what my brother and I ended up doing, too, for the same reason--playing different classes.

I went the Sin/sorc route for my first toons. Yea repeating was annoying but the instances tend to go quick so it's not too bad.
