I hit 50 last thursday night/friday with my two Commandos. I've been PvPing pretty much non-stop since.

Autofollow is obviously a giant pain in the ass at the moment. It is pretty terrible in huttball. In Voidstar and Alderan it is less of an issue, though it is still an issue.

I've had very good success in PvP so far so long as I am able to plant myself in a fight and I don't have to move much. Coming into final I wanted to play scoundrels but I was unsure of how they would do in PvP while boxing. I believe that melee classes now will do very well in PvP. This is of course contingent on autofollow being fixed. However, when that fix does go in, melee teams will work very well.

Sentinel/Marauder Guardian/Juggernaut Shadow/Assassin Scoundrel/Operative and Vanguard/PT will all work very well. If you get kited your second character will experience some fall off because they will run, swing, stop, run. Any class that can keep 100% snare time up will in large part alleviate this. Additionally stuns will allow you to get damage on target even better.

Commandos and Mercenaries and Sage/Sorc are going to be bread and butter, but melee will work and it will work very well.

The attacks don't break autofollow right?

Assassin can spec into force slow giving it a 12 sec duration and 6 second cooldown. Maybe a combination of perma force slow and a second assassin tank speced for force pull and out of stealth spike which as far as I understand isn't affected by the resolve system would make for crazy cc.

Thanks for the info btw it's good to know pvp is viable. Any preference on warzone?

They do.

But you setup your DPS keys to attack and then autofollow. So they will attack, if they are in range they attack and then follow. If they are not in range they keep following till they are in range.

Ahhahahah that's great. It's like a poor man's IWT. I love it.

Now we just need them to fix follow.

My commando's absolutely crush people with stock strike :) I've got the improved knock back, staggered them and a melee runs up and he gets knocked back. Eats two high impact bolts to the grill, runs up, gets knocked back again. Eats a grav round. Runs up, eats a concussion charge and is usually dead by then ;p

Double sentinels or guardians, pop a trinket that increases surge or power leap in and then force sweep and you could do 3-6k damage per target up to 5 targets per character. It will be a pain train.

Vanguards/Powertechs will be domination as well.
