Insta-Punt AFK

I just used "Report AFK" x 5 for the first time in AV last night, and found out that the target didn't get flagged afk like I thought would happen. They get punted with no delay. It has me worried - wouldn't you say that's too much power to put in one person's hand? What's to keep a multiboxer from punting someone who says anything cross about them? I'm assuming Blizzard would take a pretty aggressive stance against someone who's blatantly removing other people from games because they don't like them...

That being said, it's beyond awesome to not have to beg other people to report cave campers that have been sitting at the spawn for 5 minutes without moving. Click, click, boom, punt, new player has joined the battle.

This does not work on an active player. they will get flagged like normal.

This only works on someone that is idle, not doing anything and has a history of afking

And you'll only be able to do this once every hour or so.

there is actually an addon, and/or a macro that can be used that does just this, it will report the entire bg if you want it to (except for those on an exclude list of some sort) and you can do it more than once in an hour. although i wouldn't reccomend doing it a whole lot. with all the botters in av these days, doing somehting similar to this around half way through the bg has upped my win ratio dramatically, it seems to flush the bots out and get real people in most of the time.

back when Av afk farming was rife, that macro basically guarenteed my team the win as it kicked our 15 afkers and got about 12 actives in yet horde kept all theirs :P
